2008 TEAM MOLNAR MANX UPDATE

2008 is scheduled to be a busy year for our core business with the move to our new purpose built premises targeted for June/July. This will inevitably restrict the time available for racing, so we will have a quieter year.

All our recent works riders, Glen English, Steve Tomes and Ollie Linsdell have rides on modern bikes this season, so their bikes will be 'rested', although we may give them the occasional run out with a guest rider. Within the Premier classes of the CRMC we will be concentrating our efforts on supporting our customers' bikes and riders. These are all standard Molnar Manxes, exactly as anyone can buy. Our main support will be for Team Jensen (riders Mike Edwards and Vanni Jensen) and Brian Camp Racing (rider Luke Notton).

We will again be active within the Lansdowne classic series, which runs races for standard, unfaired, catalogue specification classic bikes within other clubs (predominately modern bikes) race meetings. Unfortunately, the calendar clashes badly with CRMC events which will stretch our ability to be in two places at the same time! Mark Sharrock will ride the old faithful 500cc with engine No 001, which is 12 years old now and slightly outclassed by our latest efforts. Andy will have occasional outings in the 350cc class, dependent on other commitments. This totally standard 350 performs much better than its rider!
