TEAM MOLNAR MANX 2009 Unfortunately, due to the immense demand for our products and workshop services we have had to severely restrict our racing activities in 2009. Whilst the rest of the world is complaining of recession, orders for our bikes and engines are at a record high, plus with 150 engines to service and maintain, that side of the business is working flat out. At the popular CRMC events we will only be running Vanni Jensen on his 95 bore 500 & his ultra short stroke 350. Although Vanni is not the fastest rider out there he is one of the most enthusiastic & likeable & not too demanding of our time!! Nick Roberts was due to ride the 500cc Lansdowne bike this year, but after missing the first round due to delayed carpel tunnel surgery he had a slow speed tumble off his Velo & ended up with a broken arm and shoulder bringing a very early finish to his season. Andy has ridden the 350 Lansdowne Manx again, trading wins with Colin Dally who actually builds Andy’s engine! Colin is riding Fred Walmsleys AJS 7R, whilst Glen English is on Fred’s Matchless G50, which nicely showcases the G50/7R side of the business. At the Manx Grand Prix, amicable Scot Wattie Brown rode Hans-Georg Stutz’s 90 bore to a brilliant 2nd place.
